Activities & Volunteer Work
- Barely Legal Productions (June 2010-present) – I am currently a member of the Bay Area’s premier Rocky Horror Picture Show live shadowcast. I play the parts of Magenta and Frank N Furter. We perform in San Jose on the first Saturday of every month and in Albany on the second Saturday of every month.
- KZSC Santa Cruz 88.1 FM (April 2009-March 2011) – I was the host of a goth/industrial/metal/punk radio show called Nocturnal Noise.
- MVHS Yearbook Committee (2007-2008) – I was in charge of the Performing Arts section of the yearbook and I also singlehandedly took about one third of the photos for the entire yearbook.
- Safe Ride - Palo Alto Red Cross Chapter (2007-2008) – I was a part of a non-profit group that gives teenagers a safe ride home; this prevents drunk driving and hitchhiking.
- MVHS Spartan Marching Band Camp Staff (2007) – I was a cabin leader for my high school’s Fall 2007 marching band camp where I learned many useful leadership skills.
- MVHS Gay-Straight Alliance Treasurer (2007-2008) – I was in charge of keeping track of the club’s finances.
- MVHS Jazz Band Section Leader (2006-2007) – I had to organize practices with my trumpet section and maintain order during rehearsals.
- Unidos (2005-2008) – I tutored children at a local elementary school while I simultaneously helped them improve their English language skills.
